DOMAINE DUBOST

The Domaine of Tracot was established in 1902. It extends over an area of 21.65 hectares, over 53 acres. Henri Dubost, the father of Jean-Paul, was the son of Aime, a winemaker from Beaujeau. Leaving the farm to his brother in 1958, Henri decided to take the domaine in 1960 to renovate, improve l’encepagement in several installments making it the best in the region. Jean-Paul shares his father's passion and drive to make the finest quality wines. In addition to the domaine, the Tracot Estate of Domaine Dubost offers a small museum of antique materials, bed and breakfast and a tasting cellar in the center of Beaujeau called “The Cavinere.” Currently, Domaine Dubost exports 60% of its wine to twenty countries.
